Hi, I'm Natalie.

I created Heartspark Voice as a landing pad for you to explore the potential of your voice. For over ten years, I have empowered both singers and speakers to develop their voices and embrace their unique vocal sound and power.

Whether your goal is in preparation for a presentation or performance or simply to find an outlet for your self-expression, I would love to start conversation about how I can help you:

  • Shift habits holding back your free expression by exploring breath, alignment, and  focus

  • Feel more comfortable and at ease when you perform and present with targeted exercises to relieve performance anxiety

  • Boost joy and confidence in your singing and speaking by leaning into the fun in voice training and development

  • Nurture your vocal wellbeing with voice care practices grounded in an understanding of voice mechanics

  • Design a vocal warm-up routine tailored to your individual goals

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a voice coach?

  • A voice coach is someone who can help guide you along your voice journey. Simply put, voice coaches help you do what you want with your voice.

  • They provide education to help you understand how your voice works, find your unique sound and power through interactive voicing exercises, and assess which vocal habits are serving your communication and expression well and what habits you may wish to shift in service of your overall goals.

What does a voice coaching session with you look like? What kinds of things will we do?

  • I offer voice coaching sessions, courses, and workshops both in-person and online via Zoom.

  • I work with both singers and speakers, because at the heart of it, it's all the same instrument. Some clients even opt to do some of both!

  • My approach to voice coaching is highly collaborative–I believe that your personal sense of agency in how you use your voice is of the utmost importance. After all, it’s YOUR voice! You get to decide how you use it and what you use it for. With our voice tools at hand, we will work together to figure out our path forward.

  • For each session, we will choose a voice skill to hone in on, framing it within a solid foundation of how the voice works. If you’re new to the idea of voice coaching or are coming back to it after a long break, I recommend checking out the Voice Foundations Coaching Package to get an idea of what skills will be covered in your first several sessions.

  • We will then integrate these voice skills into your singing and speaking, by working on a project of your choice.
